About the Artist

How did BluemingOnSunday come to life? Well, I've always had a creative side, from playing piano as a child to drawing everything I saw when I was five. However, I truly began to take art seriously after quitting my job in June 2026. I quit my first marketing job after graduating college because I was mistreated at work. I realized that either I could chase my dreams or go back to another unfulfilling job. So, here I am chasing my dreams.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraines, a chronic pain disorder that would come to dominate my life. The constant, unmanageable pain left me struggling to keep up with school, unable to get out of bed some days, and, at times, feeling hopeless. Despite this, my love for art became a lifeline. I started painting as a form of therapy and an escape from my pain. Between failing classes and living in near-constant pain, it wasn’t easy. Most of my days were spent in bed, and the only moments I felt relief were in the dead of night, when I began painting the walls of my bedroom.

Although my pain never improved, despite trying almost everything, my perspective on life and art began to shift as I got older. I often doubted the value of my work, thinking it lacked deep meaning or some hidden symbolism. But I realized it was full of meaning – and always has been. My art reflects the hope and happiness I find in the world. It's made up of the moments and sights that remind me life is worth living, and I want to share that perspective with others.

Today, BluemingOnSunday embodies the belief that things can get better.
